Shirred Summer Tops

I cut a rectangle that was 5 inches bigger than my bust measurement, gave it a 1/4 inch hem at the top and bottom, Then shirred the top 5 rows and bottom 5 rows.  I made straps and pinned them over my bras straps then sewed them to the inside of the top.Easy breezy!
(the blue one with the butterflies doesn't have the shirring at the bottom but it's still cute!)

T-Shirt Recon

This was fairly simple.  I just cut the sleeve cuffs and the bottom hem off, Cut a V at the top, cut a slit in the sleeve and made ties out the bottom hem.

I made this totebag to use as a sample of what I can do for my interview for the sewing instructor position I applied for at Joann's.  I got the job!
